HARPAZŌ

IN A TWINKLING
OF AN EYE

BLESSED HOPE CHALLENGE

FEAR, LAWLESSNESS & ANARCHY

Believing leaders vanish—government leaders across the globe are gone in the twinkle of an eye. Fear, lawlessness, and anarchy begin, and false narratives arise—some claiming alien abductions. But the truth is this: Jesus Himself has come for His Bride, the Church.

THE WORD ALREADY SPOKEN

"Let not your heart be troubled… I go to prepare a place for you… I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:1-3) We, the Church, are with the Lord, in our glorified bodies, rejoicing before the Lamb. The undeniable truth stands.

OUR BLESSED HOPE HAS ARRIVED

We are raptured—harpazō—in a twinkling of an eye. The world does not know what happened; they will not see us go, nor will they see our Savior until we come back with Him for the final battle, when Jesus will reign on earth. This is the believer’s Blessed Hope.

THE
VISION

What can the Church—believers—leave behind to lead others to eternal life?

Our testimony is this: God cannot lie; Jesus will do exactly as He promised; and we will be with Him. Those left behind will face great tribulation across the globe. Yet there is good news: even amid horrific events, eternal life is offered to all who repent and believe the gospel. This “second-chance” opportunity for those left behind does not replace our present duty—believe in Jesus now and be saved. If someone dies before confessing faith in Christ, Scripture warns of eternal separation from God.

When the Church is raptured—harpazō, “caught up” to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17)—believers will be removed from the earth. Darkness will then deepen dramatically. Yet God’s light will still shine for those who seek Him, though following that light will bring intense, worldwide persecution (2 Timothy 3:12).

Scripture describes coming judgments: the seals, trumpets, and bowls poured out upon the earth (Revelation 6–16). Deception will abound, including false explanations for the sudden disappearance of millions—claims of aliens or other lies (Matthew 24:4–5, 24; 2 Thessalonians 2:9–12).

Even in this chaos, God’s mercy remains: “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9–13). Salvation is found in Christ alone. Trust Him today—and hold fast, even when it costs everything.

For those left behind, spiritual darkness will intensify. But believers can leave behind the Truth: the gospel message that salvation is still possible through repentance and faith in Jesus.

If you die trusting Christ—even during the tribulation—you are immediately with Him (2 Corinthians 5:8). Revelation promises a great multitude no one can count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and the Lamb. These are the martyrs who came out of the great tribulation, their robes washed white in the blood of the Lamb. They will hunger and thirst no more; God Himself will wipe away every tear from their eyes (Revelation 7:9–17).

Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
